Selected for Excellence

We pick the best because your child deserves the best.’ – Jenny, Tutor Mentor

Our tutors are meticulously selected for their proven ability to transform lives. We seek individuals with a strong history of teaching children with special needs and learning differences, such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism, along with provincial teaching certification and a background in linguistics or education. Each tutor is committed to ongoing learning and seeks new strategies to better serve students, ensuring they possess the essential skills to make a meaningful difference.

Sharpened by Our Process

The training opened my eyes to new ways to reach kids—

I’ve never felt more prepared.’ – Sarah, Tutor

Once they join us, every tutor—regardless of prior credentials—dives into our comprehensive training. Even those with Orton-Gillingham certification or other phonics experience complete our extensive phonics program, ensuring a unified, multisensory approach.

Always Learning

"I love how TLC has everything laid out and the team is always there to help us." – Emily, Tutor

We fill any gaps with targeted skill-building. Our CEO, client services manager and tutor mentors, guide our tutors, refining their techniques so they’re able to shine. Tutors tell us they love this process—and that they love working with us—because our thorough and organized approach to training empowers them to help kids improve in such tangible ways.
